Attack Damage An old issue of Nintendo Power did a damage analysis of the home version, which with some experimentation, proves true on the Konami arcade version. A basic attack (i.e., one normal strike) will do two (2) points of damage. A jump kick (i.e., jump then attack) will do three (3) points of damage. A special attack (i.e., jump and attack together) will do four (4) points of damage. Most enemies met early on will have three hit points, making them easy to kill with jump kicks. Other tougher enemies will have hit points as a multiple of two or three. By counting the number of attacks needed to down an enemy, you can estimate its hit points.

Having a saved 360 game from Rainbox Six Vegas and Splintercell Double Agent on the same 360 profile and save location as your GRAW2 profile/game will unlock more items in the online PEC mode. Hint - 60 Minute Defender Most people got it on Headquarters, with 8 people, all with M36 SAWs. When someone died, used the fallens ammo when you run out. You need people that can be team players, use the drone well, and you need to shoot your M36 SAW on semiautomatic (giving you 800 accurately placed rounds). Definitely attempt this achievement on the Headquarters map. Have at least five other people to play with and pack some M36 SAWs (note the auto-gunner class has the full 800 rounds, not other classes). Now if you can tolerate it and have a pretty good size TV and extra controllers, go into the game with guests. These phantom players should equip M36 SAWs as well. When you go into the game, stash them behind the wooden shack to the left and deploy them when you need them. This helps when you need to get ammo but cant find any. Lastly, it should go without saying, but make sure your online connection is solid. It blows to get 50 some minutes into the match and then your conection drops.

Welcome to the force. You are the result of an experimental genetic modification program designed to improve human functionality. Although the experiment was seemingly a success, its time to put your skills to the test. Your primary objective is to exterminate the gangs that have infested our city. There are three districts, each under control by a different gang, which are comprised of hundreds of members. It wont be easy, but weve provided you with this "strategy guide" to walk you through the process. Good luck. In this guide you will discover: Training: Learn the basics of your capabilities and responsibilities. Walkthrough: Discover the location of every Supply Point, and best tactic for taking down every gang leader. Secrets: Discover the hundreds of orbs scattered throughout the city Hint - Crackdown Token Collecting With my agility token count at 495 out of 500, I thought Id share a couple of tips. This is one of the tougher achievements to get, considering it will take a lot of dedication and exploration. But if you get Crackdown, honestly, this is the only thing that will keep you playing past hour 10. Order of Density ... The agility orbs are not evenly distributed among the three islands that make up Paradise City. Los Muertos has the bulk, with at least 200 of the 500 orbs. The Volk is second, with Shai-Gen well behind. Dont rush to the other two islands, even after clearing Los Muertos. Stay, run across the rooftops and in the streets (its often easier to spot orbs looking up than from rooftops in Los Muertos territory). Keep searching. When I got down to just 15 orbs, I was surprised to discover 10 more lying around on the first island. Agility Orbs are easy to see ... Unlike the hidden orbs, agility orbs are almost always in plain sight. Some are on top of rocks near the water (which make them tougher to see), but all 495 I have found so far are in the open. Often orbs are missed because you arent looking up and down each side of every building. Complete all Rooftop Races ... The races take you past a lot of orbs, so do all 14 races to help easy collecting. When you see an orb, get it ... Quite a few times I was in a rooftop race or fighting a boss and I saw an orb and said, "gotta remember that one." Dont make this mistake. Its easier to divert yourself and get every orb you see. Dont wait until later, because the city is so big and there are so many orbs, you are bound to forget where you saw one orb in the middle of doing something else. Be Methodical ... I recommend fully exploring the rooftops while taking on the three gangs. By the time you finish off the last boss, you should have around 400 orbs (and 4 stars in your agility skill). Now comes the hard part... start with the third island and break it into sections. Get to a decent height and use the sniper rifle to scan each side of each building. Yes, its slow going, but its way too easy to miss one or two orbs. Usually you will find that when you discover one orb, there are two or three more nearby, because you just never came to that specific spot. Commit or Quit Early ... There are no achievements for getting half the agility orbs or 400 or even 499. Its all or nothing. So before you start doing a hard search, decide if you really want all 500. Because when it gets down to about 20 left, it becomes very difficult and a bit tedious. If it doesnt matter that much to you, dont bother. You have to be persistent to find the final dozen. Wall-Climbing SUV First, obtain 4 stars in your Driving skill. In the Agency Garage, select the Agency SUV and head out to any building or wall with a flat surface. If its a building, make sure there are no ledges obstructing your path up the wall. Next, get the SUV perpendicular to the wall you are going to drive up. Naturally, you must have your front bumper facing the wall/building. After that, punch the gas. Your SUVs front tires should start creeping up the wall. Once they are firmly grasping the surface of the wall and your rear tires are about to do the same press down and hold the RED button to use your 4 star vehicles special ability. This ability pulls down your SUVs suspension, essentially hugging the wall youre riding up. Do not let go of the RED button unless you want to launch yourself off the wall. Congratulations, if you have followed each step listed above youre now a wall climbing beast. Now, if you hold the RED button down long enough while driving the 4 star Agency SUV you will notice the sound it makes. You can only hold the suspension down for so long before the effect times out and returns the SUV to normal. Take note of the sound your SUV makes as the suspension effect times out. By taking advantage of this while driving up walls you will be amazed with the heights you can reach in this vehicle. Practice while youre driving on the ground so you can get the timing down. If you are hopping your SUV you are pressing the RED button again too soon. This skill isnt ver practical but mastering it will let you can roar your beastly SUV straight up Wang Tower ... bypassing his elite guards. Glitch - Mid-air Body Hop This sometimes works, and only in certain conditions. Pick up any random flat item -- although dead bodies sometimes work -- jump into the air with the object in hand. At the azimuth of the jump, toss the object downwards and sometimes your character will stop as if he stood on the ground (but in the middle of the air); if you jump again, your guy will start a jump from that spot in the air. It might prove helpful for some higher areas when your jump isnt high enough yet (due to lack of agility orbs or leveling). Hint - Fish In A Barrel On Volk Island, theres a barge (the floating structure thats closest to you as you look at the final boss house from the closest Supply Point). Kill all the enemies that are hanging around on the barge. As you walk from the front to the back of the barge, theres a door to your left under the crossbar. Enemies will spawn inside the room and emerege to fight you. Heres how it works: As you pass the door (you have to walk all the way past it), the first wave will come. Kill them. Stand there and face the door. When the next wave of enemies emerges inside the room, your reticle will go red and the red dots will pop up on the HUD. When the door opens, shoot a hothead round or lob a grenade in there and they all die. After a couple waves, the bodies pile up and prop the door open, letting you throw grenades in as soon as you see them spawn inside the room. This will continue for about 10 or so waves of enemies, and then theyll stop. Head back to the supply point and reload, then go back and do it all over again and again. I was able to max out my explosives and firearms abilities using this method in a relatively short amount of time. Had I had the patience, I probably could have done the same with the strength ability. This also can get you the mad bomber achievment. The trick outlined there can essentially be done at any location where the gangs spawn and respawn in a fixed location (such as a small room or an elevator). By utilizing this trick throughout the game, you can achieve maximum stats on firearms, explosives and strength easily when you need to.
Cheat: Cheat List Cheats are unlocked not by inserting passwords, but by acquiring the thirty Intel Pieces strewn throughout the game. The more of them you collect, the more cheats you can access. On the left are the number of Intel Pieces collected, and on the right are the cheats that are unlocked, with an explanation of what each does. 2 - "CoD Noir" Play the game in black and white. 4 - "Photo-Negative" Game colors become inverted. 6 - "Super Contrast" Games contrast increases. 8 - "Ragtime Warfare" The game feels like an old silent movie. 10 - "Cluster Bombs" One frag grenade thrown equals five in explosion. 15 - "A Bad Year" Enemies explode into tires when shot. 20 - "Slow-Mo Ability" Game plays at 40% normal speed. 30 - "Infinite Ammo" Just what it says. Unlockable: Arcade Mode To unlock Arcade Mode, beat the game once through on any difficulty level. Arcade Mode itself is split into two options - Full Challenge or Level Challenge - that add extra replayability to the game. Unlockable: Prestige Mode To unlock Prestige Mode, which is a multiplayer-only mode, you must reach experience level fifty-five. Instead of capping out at level fifty-five, which is the highest level, Prestige Mode allows you to start again from level one. This can be done a total of ten times, giving you ten different icons in in-game lobbies to show your extreme achievement. Unlockable: New Mission To play an all-new mission, which is an extra mission after the main quest is completed, beat the game and view the ending credits thereafter. After theyve run their course, you will then be given the opportunity to play one last single player mission before all is said and done. Hint: Intel Pieces Below is the level distribution list for Intel Pieces, which are enemy laptops full of information strewn throughout the game. There are thirty of them total. The left column is the level in question, while the right column is how many Intel Pieces can be found on that level. Levels with no Intel Pieces are excluded completely. Level 2 - 2 Level 4 - 2 Level 5 - 3 Level 6 - 2 Level 7 - 2 Level 9 - 3 Level 10 - 2 Level 12 - 2 Level 13 - 3 Level 14 - 2 Level 16 - 2 Level 17 - 1 Level 18 - 2 Level 19 - 2 Hint: Easy Intel The following works on the mission entitled "Hunted". After fighting your way through a basement (after going underneath a bridge, across a field, et cetera), youll reemerge outside. A nearby house next to a vending machine and a car should be your target from here. Inside the house, theres a laptop on the table. This is a piece of Intel, and collecting all thirty of them in the game will unlock all of the Cheat options available. If you collect the Laptop, and then head through the nearby checkpoint, it will be permanently acquired on your save file. Kill yourself at this point (a Grenade is an easy way to do so), and backtrack to the house. Collect the Laptop again, go to the checkpoint, kill yourself, and repeat the process. By doing this, you can collect thirty laptops without actually collecting all thirty of them. (unverified)

You will land on an orange canopy and yeehaw youll find the Katana that will slice and dice the hoards of zombies in your path. All though the katana does not last long, it is freakin sweet watching the zombies be cut into bloody pieces! Note katanas are also infinite from stalls N116 and E205. Hint: Bester Fester Beginning Replay the first few portions of the game first -- save the couple and photograph them hugging for moola points. Kill a few zombies and then die around the parking lot area. When you "save and exit to title", you keep your characters development (and PP values) for the next attempt at the game. You can power up significantly to muscle through the later areas of the game! Hint: Samurai Onechambara Zombie Action! Screw the firearms. This is not Resident Evil! Stick with the samurai sword if you want to whack bosses. Deliver a few hits and your bullets can be saved for times when you need to attack at range to get to vital food and health items. Note that this becomes valid only with some bosses (not all). Hint - Carlito Tactics In order to beat Carlito, there are two ways I have discovered. Either go into the battle with two pistols, one of which is given to you by Brad and another you can find from a cop, or go into the battle with the sledgehammer or katana. Method one involves running through the Welcome sign and running toward the ice cream parlour, then turn 180 degrees and stand behind the boxes before you go into the seating section. There you can shoot Carlito but he cant hit you. Eventually he will run on top of the food places and you must turn and hide behind the boxes, strafing and shooting him. Method 2 is to follow the beginning portion of one, except when you get to the boxes, run past them and climb ontop of the boxes that allow you to jump up to where Carlito is. Equip the sledgehammer or katana, then jump up when carlito is shooting at Brad or when hes reloading. Then just smash him, youll take damage, but his flurry takes down one bar of health, so you should beat him and kill him with one bar of health left. Hint - Jeep Inmates Tactics Head to the North Mall across the park. Inside hunt around the shops that are under construction for the nail guns. You shouldnt need more than two. Go back out to the park the way you came in and the cutscene will play. Head to the trees near the Food Court and wait for the jeep to try and make a go for you. If you stay in the tree area, the jeep should smack repeatedly into the trees, freeing up a major opportunity to nail gun the inmate on the machine gun from a safe distance. Once he is down, nail gun the passenger, then finally the driver. Once all three are dead you can go examine the .50 Cal machine gun and dismount it. It holds about 200 rds and is extremely powerful (I used it to kill Carlito in one small burst). It is also extremely acurate (you can lightly squeeze the trigger quickly for single shot). One of the best weapons in the game! Hint - Park Inmate Slaughter Nine times out of ten when your escorting any survivors through the court yard you will have to deal with the extremely annoying and deadly inmates sporting around in there little jeep. Fortunately they are a little rusty on their driving skills and tend to run into walls.But that doesnt stop the inmate with the mount machine gun from unloading on you and your party of survivors. The easiest way to defeat them is to go to the La Frescna Plaza and grab the Sub Machine Gun hidden in the Fountain. When you step out into the court yard immediately direct your party to run to the corner immediately to your right. then run left. wait for the jeep to run into the wall(because they will try to run you over) And concentrate all of your fire on the inmate firing the machine gun. It should take about 50 rounds and hes dead. By now the jeep should already be backing up to make another go at you. dodgethe jeep just barely and right when the red "B" icon apears, quickly examine th e machine gun on the back. Now manually aim(with the large machine gun) and make short work of the other two inmates. Hint - Uzi Locations There are some reliably constant sources of Uzis in the game (note -- unless you are doing Case 1.1, thses Uzis do not appear if you have one in stock already): (1) The fountain in Al Fresca Plaza. Note, having an Uzi in stock will prevent this item from spawning when the Al Fresca map is loaded. Its best to complete the Case files until this area of the map is opened easily (assist Brad, fight Carlito #1 on day one). (2) In Paradise Plaza, head up the stairs to level two (the stairs next to P113 Kids Choice Clothing). On the landing mid-way up the stairs, jump and mantle onto the blue store marquee. Follow the wall until you are over P116 (Shoe Kings). The Uzis placement should be obvious. (3) In the Food Court, locate F103 (Chris Fine Foods). There is a signboard that has a cooks cariticature. Mantle onto the dining booth sidings, then mantle again onto the cariticature signboard. The Uzi should be on the top. (4) The maintenance tunnel warehouse. This is the same room as the maintenance tunnel key. On the map, this room is underneath Leisure Park, and may be considered "just south east" of stall W107. (5) In Wonderland Plaza in the play area by the maintenance tunnel entrance, you need to zombie ride to the toy playhouse. The uzi is on the houses roof. (6) In the leisure park, goto the entrance of the parking lot, turn right & go to the corner there should be a tree with a rock under it, the Uzi is up in the tree. (7) In Entrance Plaza, go near the escalators. You will need to use the Zombie Ride to reach it.
Cheat: Four Players On One Team You can get four players on a team as well, not just three. To do this, begin by following the already-listed technique to get three players on a team. Then, during gameplay with all four controllers on, press start on controller three to enter the menu. Turn controllers one and two off. With the third controller, then head to the settings and to controller setup. Slide the fourth controller to the same side as the third. Then go back to the start menu, and just before resuming gameplay, turn controllers one and two back on. Changes will come into effect after the next play. Unlockable: Hall of Fame Teams In order to unlock the AFC/NFC Hall of Fame teams (like the Glaciers, Dummies, et cetera), you must complete the in-game Fantasy Challenge. To unlock these teams so you can play as them, you must beat them in Supreme League mode; otherwise, you will only get to play them, not as them. Cheat: Three Players On One Team In order to get three controllers aligned to the same team, do the following. Keep in mind that the 2nd player has to be using a wireless controller. With all three controllers on, choose the same side with controllers one and two. During gameplay, press start on controller one and enter the menu. Turn the second controller off. Then, with the first controller, head to settings and controller setup. Slide the third controller to the same side. Go back to the start menu, and just before resuming gameplay, turn controller two back on (there should be a rumble on the second controller). Changes will come into effect after the first play. (unverified ) Hint: Performance Institute Exploit To increase your chosen character's statistics faster, hence making him a superstar more rapidly, try the following exploit. On gameday (Sunday), enter the Performance Institute and complete the exercise. After exiting, head over to your team's schedule and enter. Then, exit back out to the city map, and the Performance Institute exercise will appear again for you to use. You can do this over and over again if you want. Hint: Draft Pick Franchise Building Here's a great technique if you're looking to build a dynasty longterm over many seasons. It works best with "great" teams (like the Patriots, Colts and Chargers) and "good" teams (like the Jaguars, Broncos, and Cowboys). Theoretically, though, it can work with any team. After finishing up your pre-season games, don't advance to the regular season. Instead, head to the trading block. Offer up your first round pick and ask for a first, second and fourth round pick in return. If your team is decent enough you will receive offers from all of the bottom teams (like Buffalo, Houston, Detroit, or whoever happens to be bad that season). So, with the bad team's first, second and fourth picks (for instance), you can offer your own second, third and fourth picks. Ask for a first, third and fourth pick in return. You have to be flexible though, because you won't always be able to get what you want in return. If the above works, however, you'll have two first round picks, a second round pick, a third round pick, and two fourth round picks (or something similar). This is absolutely amazing when you are building a franchise. Better yet, you can do this every year, as your franchise gets stronger and stronger with young, talented players.

Hint: Avoiding the Kryll In the second chapter of the game, youll be swarmed by enemy kryll if you so much as set foot in the dark. To avoid being attacked, stay in the light at all times. When theres no light in sight, look for propane canisters you can blow up to create some flames thatll scare off the kryll. Hint: Regain Health Unlike most games, you can regain all of your health in Gears of War without the need for health packs. Simple stay in cover for a few seconds and watch as the bright-red gear in the center of the screen fades away. When the gear has comlpetely disappears, your health will be completely full. Hint: Finding Cog Tags There are thirty hidden Cog Tags scattered throughout the game. Theyre small and sometimes hard to find, but theres a a mark you can look out for thatll make finding the Cog Tags easier. Look for large, red Gear logos pasted on the walls--if you find a room with this large Gear logo, examine the room and youre sure to find a Cog Tag somewhere. Hint: Fighting the Wretches When fighting wretches--the small, shrieking enemies that dont use weapons--attack with melee strikes. The best melee strikes come from weapons other than your grenades and Lancer chainsaw rifle. The chainsaw attack is too slow to combat the swarming wretches, so stick to quick-hit melee punches for instant kills. Hint - Berserker Beat Down (Then Beat Yourself Down) To defeat the Beserker at the end of act one, simply dive to the side when she charges at you. Run through the doorway to your right and continue to the door at the end of the room and face your back to it. Get the Berserkers attention by shooting at her or revving the chainsaw then, dive away at the last moment when she charges causing her to break the door down for you. Continue this to get through the next two doors. When you finally lure her into the courtyard simply use the Hammer of Dawn twice to take her down. If Dom is killed the mission is over, so revive him if hes knocked down. The second one in Act 4 is defeated similarly. Defeating the second berserker. There are six stone supports for the second part of the greenhouse. Lead the berserker through the six supports, you will see glass dropping from the ceiling. Once all six supports have been taken out, two shots with the Hammer of Dawn will crisp her.

Jump onto the racks, onto the red metal light holders, then onto the ventilation tube. The skull will spawn at the end. Blind Skull Description: "Shoot from the hip" Stage: First Stage How To Find: When you get to the area where you see the Phantom overhead (one of the marines will point it out) jump over the rocks and keep following the path on the right. When you get to the cliff there will be a rock over of the side. The skull is on the end of the rock. Note: This skull has to be Activated before you start a Campaign map. Iron Skull Effect: When either player dies in Co-Op on any difficulty both players will restart at last check point. Where to Find: Spartan 117 How to find: In the area where you rescue Sarge, behind the prison cell is a large ledge. Got to the far right side and jump on the boxes, then onto the pipes to get up on the ledge, goto the far end of the ledge, turning two corners the skull is at the far end. Tough Luck Skull Effect: Enemies do saving throws Where to find: Tsavo Highway On Tsavo Highway, about halfway through the mission (right after you are forced to walk through a large blue barrier), you will come out of a tunnel on the highway, and see a large pipeline on your left. Drop down in between the two, and run to the wall in front of you. Follow the wall all the way to where it connects with the cliff on your right, and turn to the left. There should be a few ledges--simply crouch jump from ledge to ledge, and the last one should have the "Tough Luck" skull on it. Mythic Skull Effect: Every enemy on the field now has double their normal amount of health. Where to find: Halo How to find: As soon as the mission starts walk up the hill in front of you and into the cave. Hug the right side of the cave and after a large boulder you will see a path on your right, just take the short path and it will be at the end. Cowbell Skull Effect: Explosive force increased (sputnik from H2) Level: The Ark Location: First pick up a grav lift from the small building near where you fight the scarab. Now proceed through the level until you reach the second sloping hallway (stairway), you should see some partitioned risers (platforms) halfway down. The skull is on the top level. Toss the grav-lift on the right side of the hall so it lands on the fourth little green dot from the door. Then run, jump, and use the grav-lift to propel you to the top. You should reach a ckeckpoint just as you enter the room so it you miss just try again. Thunderstorm Skull Mission: The Covenant Effect: "Field promotions for everyone!" -- Upgrades enemies to their stronger versions. After you shut down tower 1 and get access to the hornet, fly to tower 2 (the one the arbiter shut down). While walking up the stairs, go to the middle part that connects both and there should be a stair leading up to a platform where the skull is. The 7 Terminals The Ark: 1. Start the mission and once you enter the first building take a left into another door and now you should be in a curved corridor. On the inside is a Terminal. 2. After activating the bridge to let your comrades accross the gap, do a 180 and you should see it. (it does not open until you activate the bridge) 3. In the third building after defeating the scarab, kill the group of sleeping covenant, then follow the corridor downwards. Once you reach a door in front that is locked, immediately on the left there's an open door. Go through and walk straight off, then do a 180 to find a secret room. It is in there. The Covenant: 1. When in the first tower standing on the lift, face the access panel and turn left. Jump over and it's right there. 2. Land your hornet on the second tower, walk towards the entrance but when you see the locked door, do a 180. Should be right in front of you. 3. When in the third tower standing on the lift, face the access panel and turn right. Jump over and it's right there. Halo: 1. After reaching the end of the first cave, hug the right wall and you will see a building. Jump up onto the walkway and hang a left once inside. It's right there. Catch Skull Mission: The Storm Effect: "Pull pin. Count to three. Throw." Every NPC carries two grenades and throws them often. You can get this by performing a grenade jump off a warthog, or grab a ghost and go back to the ramp from which you first came out, using the ghost to push a big square crate back over to the front of the silo pod that the skull is on top of, then use the box as a place to jump from. halo 3
